The Rei Cretariae Romanae Fautores is an international learned society that brings together researchers from the territory that once belonged to the Roman Empire and from far beyond, united in the goal of developing Roman ceramics studies at its most diverse categories. This volume serves as an interim collection due to the postponement of the expected congress following the COVID pandemic. Comprised of 16 contributions encompassing various pottery categories like terra sigillata, black gloss Italian ware, and more, this special collection offers multidisciplinary perspectives on trade, local production, and societal contexts.
